mayflower state hospital's medical building crouches behind a row of skeletal trees, its central entrance like the gaping
maw on the head of a monstrous eight-eyed  spider. in photographs, however, it seems much smaller than it actually
is - behind the facade is a maze of forking hallways that one could easily wander in for hours. though its interior has
been vandalized and its original appearance stripped away, there is a certain ominousness to the wards inside that
time will never fade and an all-encompassing darkness that even the golden afternoon sun can never dispel.
